Honouring Collaboration: NAISDA Dance College Hosts Minister Linda Burney MP to Discuss Empowered Communities and Regional Impact

Five people are standing in front of a NAISDA Dance College banner with a wooden wall behind them. Smiling and dressed in business-casual attire, they appear diverse, with a mix of men and women. The group looks excited, possibly due to Minister Linda Burney's visit.

We were honoured to be warmly invited by NAISDA Dance College  to meet with Hon Linda Burney MP, Minister for Indigenous Australians in Darkinjung Country.

We highlighted the remarkable work NAISDA is doing with their Developing and Practising Artists.

The Minister discussed the significance of Empowered Communities  and the vital role of regional governance structures in providing guidance and leadership.

Key topics included the early years sector, economic empowerment, mental health and wellbeing, and the arts.

The Minister also had the opportunity to visit opt-in partners, The Glen and Bara Barang Corporation, showcasing the diverse and remarkable work being achieved in the region.

We are inspired by the continued support of these initiatives to positively impact our community.
